Pregnant woman and baby injured in settler attack

A Palestinian pregnant woman and a baby girl were injured on Sunday evening after being stoned by a group of settlers near Giv'at Gilad settlement illegally built south of Nablus, to the north of occupied West Bank.

Local sources affirmed that the ex-prisoner Ali Shawahna, who spent 15 years behind Israeli bars, was driving near the illegal settlement when his car came under a settler attack.

His wife, baby girl, and his sister in law were in the car during the attack, the sources said.

My infant was hit in her head while my sister in law was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit in Rafidia Hospital.

A few weeks ago, a Palestinian mother of eight was killed when settlers threw stones at a car she was in.
